Here are a couple of pics of Casey’s new bike, a Kona King Kahuna 29er. Let’s just say he is one lucky SOB.

Sweet reflectors, homo.
Hold on just one damn minute…..are you holding that thing straight out to your side w/ one hand? What’s it weigh? Oh, you are a bastard!
Yes. He is holding it out like that. I think I’d dislocate my shoulder if I tried that with my Hard Rock. What a jerk.
Yes, I am holding it straight out like that. It has a scandium frame. It weighs around 26-27 pounds (I think). Some guy online said his was like 24 after a couple of adjustments. If I want to cut some lbs off before race time my best investment would be to do a few more push aways (from the table).
The reflectors are already removed. They were on the test pedals attached to my clipless and on the spokes (I think it’s required to be sold that way here). They are all gone now and my bike is soooo much lighter.
Next thing you need to do is get rid of all those gears and turn that thing into a Singlespeed. Then it will truly be badussy.
Damn that’s a good looking rig; I hope that Fox fork is as awesome as they say it is.
