ALPO Challenge Update – Who Has to Eat Dog Food?

Well, Bob and I finished our ALPO Accountability Challenge today.  Bob needed to drop from 257 down to 245 in just over 5 weeks.  Originally, I had to drop from 218.5 down to 205, but then our “friends” from Whiskey Tango Foxtrot sent us a little care package.  In response to that, I went and shot my mouth off and said I would be below 200 pounds.  That was really stupid of me.  Anyway, for better or worse, here is the video of the weigh-in.  Be warned, though.  I make an appearance in my underwear.  Here you go:

    Nice job guys! I unintentionally started working to loose the same time as you guys. Started Feb 6 at 225.5 and as of today March 22 I weigh 205.3. We have to get ready to race season…trying to talk my wife into driving the 5 hours to participate in your non-race but we shall see. Can’t wait to read the write up about the LBL.

  5. Thats bullshit! How did it zero in on Luke’s weight so fast but took forever to get Bob’s. I think Bob should have done his again on Luke’s scale. .

    I think each of you should at least eat 1 spoonful. 😉

  7. I am glad you both made weight. But I agree with Robby it was slightly suspicious how it took so long for Bob’s weight. =) Good Luck at LBL.

    Time for a new challenge. Perhaps this time we can shoot for a specific pant-size?

    • Count me in. I’d like to drop a few lbs before the Kanza. What are the stakes? My diet starts at breakfast.

      I say we use waist size in addition to body weight. I plan on lifting again and my weight might not drop as fast since I hope to be gaining muscle.

      What is the punishment for falling short? Dog Food (already done it)? Cat Food? Fish Food? A punch in the face? Ideas?
